2008 resolutions continued health



2008 Resolutions continued: Health, Weight, Exercise

So I started back on the diet and exercise program and hope I can tell

everyone I weigh 30 lbs less 4 months from now or so.

How am I going to get there?

Regular exercise (walking, hiking, weights, circuit, yoga), managed

food intake (low carbs , no bread rice potatoes and so on) and lots of

protein and veggies, easy on the everything else.

One of the hardest things: Giving up diet soda. (I am going to hate

doing this).

Why am I doing it?

This NYTimes article on metabolic syndrome says diet soda is the

trigger, the thing that makes the odds go waay up scared me big time.
